Kaity Klonowski is an incoming senior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University. She is pursuing a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Religious Studies, and has already completed a certificate in Marketing.
Kaity has gained valuable experience through her involvement in internships and campus organizations while at ASU. She has served as the community relations coordinator at Future For KIDS, a local nonprofit organization that seeks to improve the lives of at-risk youth in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area through academics, ethics, and athletics. Kaity also mentored a group of six third-graders in Future For KIDS after-school mentorship program. Additionally, Kaity is an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority, where she has served on the public relations and community service board.
All in all, Kaity is a 21-year-old Arizona native that loves dogs, Taco Tuesday, a good book, and iced coffee. She loves watching Netflix at the end of a long day with the people she loves (especially if they are watching House of Cards or One Tree Hill). Her family and friends are the most important people in the world to her, and she credits them with making her into the person she is today. And finally, she can make a mean grilled cheese, wiggle her ears, and make a newspaper hat (the kids she nanny like to see if she can do all three at once).
