Lauren is a junior at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is pursuing a degree in journalism and is double minoring in French and sustainability.
Making the decision to study journalism was an easy one for Lauren. Her childhood dream of being a magazine editor, three years of high school journalism, and her desire to tell other people’s stories led her to Cronkite. She previously served as a community intern with EmpowHER, a women’s health website, where she got to interact with members of the online community as well as write articles. She has also worked as a reporter for ASU’s State Press Magazine. Lauren decided to minor in French and sustainability because of her love of French culture and her passion for eco-friendly living.
When Lauren has free time, there is nothing better in her opinion than being cozy under a blanket with a book in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. If she’s not lost in a book, Lauren is most likely spending time with friends, camping with her family or watching The Office.
