Ashley has always been a writer at heart, receiving a diary from her mother at a very young age. Supportive book-buying parents influenced her love of literature and storytelling as she grew up. Her love for songwriting led the way to creating short stories and the start of her own blog where she documented her life as a college student. Having always been a fan of dark plot lines, Ashley picked up Stephen King’s It and never looked back. When she is not working on her first novel or new story ideas, Ashley can be found curled up with her rescue chihuahuas or reviewing the newest liquid lipstick formula on her YouTube channel.
After graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Certificate in Creative Writing, Ashley set her sights on a career she would be excited about for the rest of her life. Previous work as an editor for NAU’s online literary magazine, The Tunnels, assured her of her love for watching stories come to life. As a content creator, she now gets to live her dreams of working in a world surrounded by books and creativity while reassuring people that no, she did not get an English degree to become a teacher. Her biggest accomplishment has been building her own bookshelf to house all of her beloved novels, anthologies, and short story collections. One day, Ashley hopes to find a way to combine her passion for rescuing dogs and writing horror stories.
