Our Sparks are some of the most talented people you will ever meet and we love to brag about them. That’s why we’ll be sharing a few fun facts about them in our new series, Spark Spotlight. This week, meet our publicity intern, Lauren!
What is your favorite book of all time and why? My favorite book is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier because I love how the narrator is unnamed and I love mystery thrillers. My dad and I would always watch the 1940 movie adaptation of the book and I’m sure that made me like the book even more.
Describe your perfect day. It’s overcast, there’s a slight drizzle and a cool breeze. I take a walk along the beach or in a park with a lot of trees. I then go out to breakfast and order tea and blueberry pancakes. I spend the rest of the day window shopping. When I’m tired and cold, I go home, cook something really good, watch a movie and take a bath.
What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a nurse, but I can’t stand blood so that was really unrealistic.
If you could switch places with anyone for a day (real or make believe) who would it be? I would switch places with Neville Longbottom so I could experience going to Hogwarts without having to worry about saving the wizarding world.
What’s a fun fact that people would be surprised to know about you? Sometimes when I cook, I say the steps aloud and pretend I’m talking to a camera like Ina Garten.
