
Lainnie Singleterry is a student at Western Michigan University pursuing a degree in English with minors in Communications and Public Relations. She also holds an Associate’s degree in Social Media Marketing. After serving in the military and later working as an international flight attendant, she returned to school to pursue a career in the publishing industry, inspired by a lifelong love of books and storytelling.
She currently maintains a 4.0 GPA while balancing two part-time jobs and creating book-focused content on Instagram, where she collaborates with authors and publishers. Her professional interests include editing manuscripts, creating flatlays, and increasing diversity and inclusion within publishing.
Lainnie lives in Michigan with her husband of nine years and their orange cat, O’Malley. In her free time, she enjoys annotating every book she reads, rewatching Shrek and Interstellar far too often, and starting new hobbies that are definitely going to last longer than two weeks. Her favorite books include The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood and Intense Feelings by Nomi Palmer.
