This summer, She Writes Press and SparkPress are celebrating another year of success in publishing. She Writes Press, committed to giving a voice to all women and creating space for their stories, is celebrating its ninth birthday this July. In addition, SparkPress is celebrating its eighth year of publishing unique stories by new exciting voices.
Together, these two hybrid publishers continue to disrupt the traditional publishing model every year, with initiatives like the STEP (She Writes Press and SparkPress Toward Equality in Publishing) contest, and the landmark of signing 750 authors collectively through 2021.
She Writes Press is almost in the double digits—and we’re seeing the number “nine” everywhere! She Writes Press still going strong as the first and only hybrid publisher to win Independent Publisher of the Year.
We’re celebrating by sharing 7 big wins for She Writes Press & SparkPress this year, from hitting 1500+ awards and finalist titles between the two imprints to a brand-new partnership with OrangeSky Audio to publish audio versions of many of our best-selling titles.
