This summer, She Writes Press and SparkPress are celebrating another year of success in publishing. She Writes Press, committed to giving a voice to all women and creating space for their stories, is celebrating its eighth birthday this July. In addition, SparkPress is celebrating its seventh year of publishing unique stories by new and diverse voices.
Together, these two hybrid publishers continue to disrupt the traditional publishing model every year, with initiatives like the STEP (She Writes Press and SparkPress Toward Equality in Publishing) contest, and the landmark of signing 600 authors collectively in 2020.
