In light of SparkPress turning 7 this summer, we are proud to unveil the expansion of our program to include more children’s books and illustrated middle grade/YA novels, with a new publishing package specific to this market and collaborations with a vetted stable of illustrators.

We know the children’s market is competitive, so we will be selective in the titles we choose to publish to further our mission of enhancing children’s lives with sophisticated illustrations and storylines that speak to imagination, inclusivity, and core values. SparkPress is one of the top awarded indie imprints in the publishing industry, with over 100 authors signed and in its 3rd year of the STEP contest (She Writes Press and SparkPress Toward Equality in Publishing). We welcome children’s/middle grade/YA authors to submit their manuscripts and illustrations for consideration here.
